August 30, 2016 - Tiree Ultramarathon Approaches

The team here in Cohesion are off to Tiree at the weekend to take part in the Cohesion Medical sponsored Tiree Ultramarathon.

Andy Watson will be running the full 35 miles in a bid to raise money for melanoma charity MASScot, while Kavan Bickerstaff will also do the full run and will be raising funds to share between the 5 dementia charities we will visit as part of our Life Changes Trust project, Connected, Caring Communities.

The Ultrmarathon is a 35 mile run taking in the whole of the beautiful island of Tiree and is in its third year.

Following the run, those who can still walk will gain free entrance to the evening ceilidh, where prizes will be awarded to the day's runners.

Cohesion is proud to sponsor this unique event and we wish all of the runners the best of luck on the day.
